Merced Lao Family Community, Inc. (MLFC), is a non-profit organization founded in 1981. The organization was established to provide assistance to the influx of Southeast Asian refugees who fled from the aftermath of the Vietnam War. Merced Lao Family was formed to provide social work assistance, adult & youth programs, educational, arts and craft and cultural programs. These programs are aimed to help adapt to the language, workforce, western culture and the new way of live.
