EYC combined prevention education with hands-on skill building. The program created opportunities for young people to learn, connect with their community, and prepare for future education and employment experiences.

Who the Program Served
The program served youth throughout Merced County. Activities were designed to help participants build confidence, develop practical skills, make positive decisions, and strengthen their connections to the community. Participant involvement typically lasted about one year.

The program was funded by the Sierra Health Foundation.
